“Rain made our Hakone stay better—not worse.”

The mountain views disappeared, but the ryokan became the whole experience. Slowing down for dinner, the onsen and a quiet morning worked better than trying to rescue every sightseeing plan. I would book luggage forwarding again and leave the wet afternoon intentionally open.
